Is your website too slow?

If your website isn't loading fast enough then your customers will be heading elsewhere faster! The average browser allows about 3 to 4 seconds on a normal broadband connection to view a web site so if yours is delaying then your customers are running away!

Today's off of the shelf web building packages such as Wordpress etc enable anyone with little or no technical experience to build a cheap web site but due to the wide range of applications these free web tools must fit they are often clumsy, slow and quite fat code wise. A small web site by Wordpress standards can be anything up to 90MB which is at least 10 time fatter than in needs to be. This is because a one size fits all web building package carries with it everything it may need as often the person putting the site together lacks development skills so the average Wordpress package has to adapt to their needs.

Off the shelf websites too slow

We don't build off the shelf - we develop our sites from scratch using our own code. They are adapted to meet the clients needs and they are fast quite often scoring in the 90% of global fast web sites.

You can test your web site yourself - visit https://tools.pingdom.com and pop your own site into the tester. You can then bring the matter to the attention of your web company.

Slow websites lose customers

Slow web sites lose customers - fact! On mobile devices the matter is even more critical because many users will visit your site using a slower 3G connection which really highlights speed issues.

Google also grades and ranks sites on speed - a slow site will not score highly in ranking because the likes of Google serve content to a mass audience who demand the best. Google like all businesses wants to deliver the best sites which means slow ones simply will fall by the wayside.
